Amateur Radio Monthly Meetings
SVARC, the Sandusky Valley Amateur Radio Club, aims to make 2025 a fantastic year for both Amateur Radio and our club community. We are focused on bringing our membership numbers back up to pre-pandemic levels. Our goal is to reconnect with all previous members and warmly welcome newcomers. We invite all area Hams to join us, get acquainted, and discover just how friendly our club is. We are committed to providing guidance and instruction to help anyone interested in getting licensed and enjoying the greatest hobby on earth.
Our monthly meetings are held on the first Saturday of most months. Please note that a few months may have different dates or locations for special events. Notably, our December meeting is replaced by a dinner party for our members. These meetings take place at the Sandusky County Chamber of Commerce building, located at 1247 Napoleon St., in Fremont, OH. The official start time is 9:00 AM, but we welcome social time starting at 8. We also allocate time for discussions and presentations at 10:00 AM or after the meeting, whichever comes first. This time is open for anyone wanting to give a talk about Amateur Radio, share a hobby, or ask questions. We strive to bring in speakers to present on topics of interest as well.

The Sandusky County Chamber of Commerce is allowing us to use their building for our monthly meetings. If you're a member of the Sandusky Valley Amateur Radio Club, please note the address: 1247 Napoleon St., Fremont, OH 43420. Use the Jefferson St. Classroom entrance.
Time
The Sandusky Valley Amateur Radio Club will hold its monthly meetings at 9:00 AM Eastern time. Social time for members will start at 8:00 AM Eastern time, or when we arrive after breakfast. Following the meeting, we will have a technical discussion or program at 10:00 AM or after the meeting, whichever is later.
