ARRL Licensing Exams

ARRL Volunteer Examiner test sessions for license exams are conducted at the Sandusky County Chamber of Commerce building, located at 1247 Napoleon St., Fremont, OH. We welcome walk-ins, so there's no need to RSVP. For more information on what to bring to the exam and additional details, please visit https://www.arrl.org/getting-licensed.

These dates are important for those interested in participating in license exams administered by ARRL Volunteer Examiners in Fremont, OH.

Directions to test site

No matter which direction you arrive from, if you are on a state or US highway, take route 53, 6, 20, 19, or the Fremont Bypass. Exit at the route 53 North exit, and head South toward Fremont OH instead of North to Port Clinton. This road will turn into Rawson Avenue as you enter town. Stay on Rawson until it dead ends at Napoleon St. Turn right, and after crossing 2 railroad tracks, the building will be on your left. It is located at the corner of Napoleon and Jefferson St, where you can find ARRL Volunteer Examiners conducting license exams.
